Privacy Policy

Screenshots (screenshots.trei.dev) is a browser-based editor for App Store and Play Store screenshots, run by Trei. This policy explains what the site handles and what leaves your device.

Your Images Stay In Your Browser

The images you add, the text you type, and the screenshots you export are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers or stored by us. Exported PNG files are saved straight to your device.

Google Sign-In

You can use the editor as a guest without an account. If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Firebase Authentication (a Google service) process your Google account name, email address, profile photo, and a user ID so we can recognise your account. We do not receive your Google password.

MCP API Keys

API keys shown on the Environment & MCP page are generated in your browser. Keep them private. If you connect an AI tool to our MCP endpoint, the request it sends (heading text, colours, device, and image URL) is processed only to answer that request.

Analytics

We use our self-hosted Plausible analytics at lytics.trei.dev to count page visits and basic product events. It does not use cookies. Once a day the site also sends a random visitor ID, stored in your browser, to api.trei.dev so we can count daily visitors. Neither includes your images or editor content.

Third-Party Services

  • Firebase Hosting (Google) serves the site and keeps standard server logs.
  • Google and Firebase Authentication handle sign-in when you use it.

Payments

Screenshots Pro is not on sale yet. When it is, payments will be handled by a payment provider and we will not store your card details. This policy will be updated before any paid plan launches.

Children's Privacy

Screenshots is a tool for app developers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we will delete the account data.

Your Choices And Contact

You can use the editor without signing in. To ask about your data or request deletion of your account, email contact.gangwar@gmail.com. We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
